Lola Belle Mashburn Ferraro, 100, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015, at Haywood Regional Medical Center.

A native of Macon County, she was the daughter of the late William Charlie and Jenny Angel Mashburn. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clement Ferraro, who died in 2008; four brothers, Avery, Clete, Cecil and Dean Mashburn; and three sisters, Janie Hardin, Alice Gore and Deeda Elmore.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, at Wells Funeral Home in Canton. The family will receive friends from 1 to 1:30 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be held at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Silver Bluff Christmas Fund, 100 Silver Bluff Drive, Canton, NC 28716, or to one’s own favorite charity.
