DUNCAN, Okla. — Services for David Morris, 75, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, at the Western Heights Baptist Church. The Rev. Wayne Childers will officiate. Burial will follow at the Resthaven Memorial Gardens.

Morris died April 28 in Oklahoma City, Okla. He was born Nov. 24, 1924, in Fort Defiance, Ariz., to Charlie and Lena Morris.

Morris was a retired chemist with Halliburton Services. He was a member of the Chisholm Trail Band and Western Heights Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He married Dealva Dismuke on Aug. 5, 1960, in Duncan.

Survivors include his wife, Dealva Dismuke of Duncan; sons, Ernest Ross of Supulpa, Okla., and Earl Ross of Duncan; daughters, Vinita Bell of Yukon, Okla., and Verna Krautbauer of Duncan; brother, Harvy James of Fort Defiance, Ariz.; sister, Mary Jane Chancey of Albuquerque; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Morris was preceded in death by his brothers, John E. Morris and Joe Morris.

Pallbearers will be Justin Ross, Jeromy Ross, Randy Krautbauer, Steven Ross, Lionel John, Aiden Lee and Joe Mavroudis.
