MILLHORN, Addie V. (Age 102) Passed away Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Fairfield Care in Fairfield, WA. She was born December 30, 1912 at Burke, Id to John and Maria (Bolster) Fleckenstein, the youngest of seven children. Her family moved to Rockford, WA in 1920. Addie attended Mica Peak School through the 10th grade, and graduated from St. Scholastica's Academy at Colton, WA in 1931. She married Murl Harmon in December of 1931. They had three children, Lenore, Murl, and Sharon. Her husband Murl passed away in 1940. Addie married Herbert Millhorn in October of 1945, and the couple made their home in the Rockford area where Herbert farmed and Addie was a farm wife. The couple had two children, Maureen and Herb. Her husband died in January of 1969. She continued to make her home in the Rockford area. Addie lived near her daughter at Oakesdale from 1992 until moving to Fairfield Care in 2012. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Rockford, WA, the church Altar Society, the Mica Peak Women's Club, the Lake Creek Club, and the Tekoa Study Club. Addie enjoyed gardening, her flower gardens, and quilting. She is survived by her daughter, Maureen (Dan) St. John of Oakesdale, WA; her son Herb Millhorn of Worley, ID, her son Murl Harmon of Jenkintown, PA; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her two husbands Murl and Herbert; two daughters, Lenore Harmon and Sharon Harmon Adams; a grandson Shane St. John; and her six siblings, Anna, Theresa, John, Fred, Cecilia, and Maria. A Memorial Mass for Addie V. Millhorn will be held Friday, January 9, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Rockford, WA. Father Robert Erickson, S.J. will officiate at the service and urn burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Rockford. Memorial gifts may be given to St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Rockford, or to Fairview Cemetery in Rockford, WA. KRAMER FUNERAL HOME OF TEKOA, WA is handling the arrangements
