Eula Cole Ruppalt Mrs. Eula Cole Ruppalt CHARLOTTE - Mrs. Ruppalt, 92, of Charlotte passed away Sunday, November 14, 2010 at Merriwood Independent Living.She was born November 10, 1918 in Turbeville, SC the daughter of the late David Emerson Cole and Susan Virginia Burgess Cole. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Francis Charles Ruppalt. Eula met Frank while working in the shipyards of Charleston, SC during WWII, and was married 57 years. She was an avid member of Steele Creek Presbyterian Church and the American Legion, Women's Auxiliary, Post221. Eula enjoyed cooking, gardening, making jams and jellies, and square dancing. Her greatest joy was her family with whom she loved spending time. Surviving are her daughter, Susan Lantz and husband Leonard Horne; son, Gary Cole Ruppalt and wife Ingrid; grandchildren,Heather Kelejian and husband Doug and Gregory Horne; beloved great grandchildren, Thel, Speed, and Ranger; sisters, Selma Miller,Kathleen Davis, and Frances Bailey; brother, David Cole; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 11AM, Wednesday,November 17, 2010 at Steele Creek Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow in Steele Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 10:30 AM Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at Steele Creek Presbyterian Church. The family would like to thank Dondi Johnson for being her special friend and Rodica Tarau for being an Angel.
