Garold E. "Jerry" Suber, 90, of Fostoria, died Sunday morning, Jan. 4, 2015, at Good Shepherd Home, Fostoria. He was born Aug. 12, 1924, in Wyandot County to the late Clarence V. and Bernice (Tong) Suber. He married Karis J. Conley Nov. 23, 1947, in Carey, and she survives in Fostoria. Also surviving is a son, Gary R. Suber of Fostoria; a daughter, Karen L. (Keith) Thomas of Fairfield; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a brother, Donald (Ann) Suber of Carey. A brother, Esthel Suber, is deceased. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, at Hoening Funeral Home, 242 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria. A private service will take place Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. William A. Bentley presiding. Burial will follow in Wharton Richland Union Cemetery, Wharton. Memorials are suggested to The Salvation Army or a charity of the donor's choice.
