Ann Agard, 91, of Ursa died at 2:25 p.m. Tuesday (Dec. 1, 1987) in Blessing Hospital in Quincy.
Mrs. Agard was born Feb. 15, 1896, in Quincy, a daughter of Gustav and Marie Randell Littich. She married Verner Agard, March 17, 1916, in Galesburg. He died May 10, 1963.
Mrs. Agard became a member of Ursa Christian Church in 1933 and has served on the church board and as a deaconess in addition to teaching the Golden Rule class. She was a 48-year member of Order of Eastern Star in the former Marcelline and Ursa chapters.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Wayne (Lucille) Neil of Ursa; two sisters, Elsie VaLeu of Joplin, Mo., and Minnie Lease of Quincy; a grandson, R. Duane Neil of Ursa; and two great-grandchildren, Bryan Neil of Ursa and Michelle Neil of Danville.
Mrs. Agard was also preceded in death by a sister, two brothers and an infant grandchild.
Services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Ursa Christian Church by the Rev. Steve Allen. Burial will be in New Providence Cemetery in Ursa.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the Curry Funeral Chapel in Ursa and Friday from 9 a.m. until time of services in Ursa Christian Church.
Memorials may be made to the Ursa Christian Church.
