Walter “Lee” Staples, 84 of Bedford, KY was born on October 30, 1930 in Trimble County at the home of his parents, John Howard Staples and Stella Mae Garrett Staples. Like most children born in the wonderful countryside of Trimble County he loved to hunt. Lee loved to hunt anything and it changed throughout the years. He loved to hunt foxes, coon, duck, geese, and deer. This was always time Lee enjoyed with family. Since, he became a Grandfather he mostly enjoyed hunting with his grandson, Duncan for turkey and dove. He was very close to his family and dearly loved every moment spent with them. Lee served his country in the Army and was honorably discharged.
Lee leaves to mourn his passing his wife of 64 years Rosetta Staples, his daughter Leigh Ralston and her husband Damon of Bedford, KY and his Grandson Duncan Ralston, of Bedford, KY. His siblings:
Vina Grace Leach of Bedford, KY; Johnny Mae Staples of Noblesville, IN; Lilly Jo Embry of New Castle, KY. Many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister Lucille Black.
