Mrs. Patricia A. McIllwain, age 73, of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on January 1, 2015, at NHC HealthCare of Milan. Memorial services for Mrs. McIllwain will be conducted on Monday, January 5, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home of Dyer with Bro. Chuck Ramsey officiating. Interment will follow in Good Hope Cemetery of Dyer, Tennessee.
Mrs. McIllwain was born August 3, 1941 in Dyer, Tennessee; the daughter of the late Oceala Clyde and Mary Edna Hall Ashley. Mrs. McIllwain worked as a seamstress and for Ingram's Deli.
Mrs. McIllwain is survived by a son, Gary Henry; two daughters, Dawn Patterson and Crystal "Jane" Denton; and sisters, Brenda McKnight, and Debbie Ramsey.
She was preceded in death by sister, Susan Ashley; her parents, and spouse, Lester Ray McIllwain.
