Fredericka was the only child of Anton Bühler and wife Lena Gross. Fredericka's mother died in Germany. Fredericka came to America with her father and stepmother and her two children about 1870. After Fredericka's marriage to Jerome 1883, her father moved to LA. Following her father's death in 1909 Fredericka and her family moved to LA but she died of TB in 1910. Inexplicably, her headstone says 1909 for the year of death but this is incorrect.
