One of the oldest and most respected Gentlemen died last week-Old uncle Jeremiah Annis. Mr. A. was 84 years old-was in the war two years, has raised a large family of seven boys and three Girls all of whom are married and with but one exception are raising families, there being about sixty one grand children and with about twenty one great grand children. He has lived a very quiet law abiding life, never aspiring to public life. Was a consistent member of the Baptist church from his young days up, Bearing his sickness of years with great fortitude.
