Ruth E. Taylor age 80 of Hancock, died Sunday December 28, 2014 at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, MD.

Born, May 2, 1934 in Warfordsburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles F. and Tenna M. Crouse Taylor.

She was a graduate of Warfordsburg High School.

She had been employed as an inspector, with the former London Town Manufacturing, Hancock, MD and also had worked for the National Restaurant.

She was a member of the Hancock Rescue Squad Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years Harry H. Taylor; one son, Roger L. Taylor and wife Diane of Berkeley Springs, WV; one sister, Doris Fearnow of Williamsport, MD; one granddaughter, Crystal Lynn Taylor and companion Bucky Divel of Berkeley Springs, WV; one great granddaughter, Trinity Divel.

She was also preceded in death by one sister, Helen Kirk; two brothers, Fred W. Truax and Bernard J, Truax.

Services to be announced at a later date.

Family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Ruth’s name may be made to the charity of your choice.
