Cecil McCammon, 81, of Grenada, passed away Friday, Nov. 28, 2014, in Grenada. Cecil was born to William A. McCammon and Martha Winters McCammon on June 12, 1933, in Torrance Landing, Miss. He was a self-employed carpenter and a member of Hebron.
Cecil is survived by his wife, Beatrice Ludolf McCammon of Grenada; sons, Bill (Teresa) McCammon and Cecil McCammon of Grenada; daughters, Gail (Raymond) Kunefke of Rolla, Mo., and Becky Rautine of Madison, Tenn.; brothers, Delmar (Joanne) McCammon of Indiana, Rex (Carolyn) McCammon of Southaven, Vernon (Patricia) McCammon of Southaven, and Fred (Rose) McCammon of Hernando; sisters, Sadie Griffin of Grenada and Kathrine Davis of Southaven; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Edward, R. J. and Danny McCammon; and sisters, Bea Green, Bell Vance and Ruth Wickers.
A visitation will be held Monday, Dec. 1, 2014, from 12:30 until 2 p.m. at Garner-Harper Funeral Home, with a funeral service to be held in the funeral home’s chapel. Interment will be at Memorial Gardens in Grenada.
