Our loving wife and mother, Marian Jeppson Walker, died March 30, 2001 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

She was born Aug 3, 1942 in Brigham City to Samuel Leland and Mary Thomas Jeppson. Marian married William Lorin Walker Aug 4, 1961 in the Logan LDS Temple.

She is a member of the LDS Church. Published writer. Marian was the first person to receive a permanent LVAD (mechanical heart) in the Mountain West Region. This was part of a trial to help with the fight against heart failure.

Survived by her husband, Bill; children, William Scott (Christine) Walker, Shaun Walker, Troy (Paula) Walker, Pamela (David) Smeal; five grandchildren; four brothers and one sister, Paul (Marlys) Jeppson, Louise(Mont) Larsen, Clark (Marilyn)Jeppson, Ralph (Faye) Jeppson, Calvin (Ann)Jeppson.

Services will be Wed. 11 a.m. at the Glenmoor LDS 1st Ward, 10115 S. Yorkshire Dr (4200 W). Friends may visit the family Tues. 5-8 p.m. at McDougal West Jordan Mortuary, 1861 W. 7800 S. and at church Wed. 10-10:45 a.m. Interment: Brigham City Cemetery. Contributions in her memory can be made to the Utah Artificial Heart Program at LDS Hospital.
