Age 84, of Hollandale, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2014 at St. Mary’s Hospital following a brief illness. The former Doris Colden was born to Alvin and Nellie Colden. She was a 1948 graduate of the Hollandale High School. Doris married Orville Plantikow of Monroe on July 4, 1949. The couple lived in Monroe before settling in Hollandale. Doris had worked many places including Oscar Mayer and Oaktron but her main career was as a wife and a mother. She was a member of the Hollandale Lutheran Church. Doris enjoyed watching sports on TV especially the Packers, Badgers and Brewers. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Orville on March 31, 1990; a sister, Ruth Zeihr; a brother, Laverne Colden; a brother-in-law, Ralph Plantikow and a sister-in-law, Dorothy Roth.
