Thomas Arthur Brizendine
Thomas Arthur Brizendine, 97, of Glasgow, died Sunday, December 14, 2014 at Hackettstown Memorial Hospital in Hackettstown, N.J.
He was born December 2, 1917 in Bedford County, Va., the son of the late Henry Arthur Brizendine and Connie Elizabeth Padgett Brizendine.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lula Elizabeth Milam Brizendine.
Mr. Brizendine was a member of the Glasgow Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are one daughter, Anne B. Acuff of N.J.; one sister, Elsie B. Humphreys of Tenn.; one granddaughter, Laura B. Acuff of N.C.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted 3 p.m. Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Big Island Cemetery with the Rev. Wayne Meredith officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
