Robert Bass Robert Bass was born to Robert Bass, Sr., and Jenny Scott Bass in Houston, Texas, on July 30 1926
On January 26, 1952 he united in marriage to Rosa Mae Marshall. Robert and Rosa have celebrated 62 wonderful years of marriage.

Robert served faithfully as a member of Blue ridge United Methodist Church. He worked in many areas of the church including Boy Scout Troop #434, the Gospel Choir and Blue ridge United Methodist Men’s group. Robert even served as “landscape specialist” for one year at the current church location. Robert received numerous awards for his service to youth and others.

A graduate of Houston Independent School District’s Phyllis Wheatley High, Robert attended and graduated from Texas Southern University with a degree in Industrial Technology. Robert worked for over 40 years at Southern Pacific Transport Co. Robert even received an Expert Driver Award for ten years of safe driving at Southern Pacific.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one brother. He laves to cherish his memories a devoted and loving wife, Rosa M. Bass, daughter Alina L. Bass Harvey and son in law Thomas l. Harvey. He also leaves behind three wonderful God Children Craig Williams, Tara Jenkins Williams, and Yvonne Jenkins, one sister, one brother and a host of other family and friendss Jr. expired (Sunday) December 13, 2014 Visitation (Friday) December 19, 2014 from 9-10:55 a.m., Funeral at 11:00 a.m. both services will be held at Blueridge U.M.C., 2929 Reed, Rev. Romonica Malone-Wardley Officiating, Interment Houston Memorial Gardens
