Mrs. Josephine Jacobs, 78, 302 West 8th St., died today at St. Anthony Hospital.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph’s Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at Brock’s North Hill Chapel from 8 p.m. today until service time. A parish rosary service will be held at 8:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Her husband, Joseph, died in 1949.

Survivors include five sons, Cecil, Augusta, Kan., Virgil and Fred, both of Hays, Donald, Livermore, Calif., Clifford, Kansas City; four daughters, Mrs. Rosetta Palmer, Hays, Mrs. Dean (Henrietta) Carroll, Cheyenne Wells, Colo., Mrs. Floyd (Alice) Sexton, Arlington Heights, Ill., Mrs. Gene (Shirley) Stalder, Hays; 28 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Charles Irons, Kansas City, Mrs. William Slimm, Kansas City, Mrs. Charles Sillin, Camdenton, Mo., Mrs. Neal Ware, Dallas, Texas, Mrs. Frank B. Miller, Hays; three brothers, Clem Bissing, Hays, Rich, Idaho Falls, Idaho, Al, Wichita.

She was a member of Daughters of Isabella, St. Joseph’s Altar Society.
