Henderson B. Stuckey Dies at Prattsville
Sheridan, AR - July 14, 1956
Henderson Burns Stuckey, 78, a retired farmer, died at his home near Prattsville today following an extended period of ill health.
He was a life-long resident of Grant County and a member of the Sweet home Baptist Church near Prattsville.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mattie Stuckey; three sons, Clyde Stuckey of Poyen, and Clacil and Ottis Stuckey of Prattsville; five daughters, Mrs. Lesta Burrow and Mrs. Elma Mooney of Poyen; Mrs. Ethel Beck and Mrs Ila Jordan of Prattsville, and Mrs. Norma Holiman of Malvern; five brothers, Luther, John, Horace and J. L. Stuckey of Malvern and V. W. Stuckey of Sheridan; four sisters, Mrs. Ed Ashcraft, and Mrs. George Fowler of Malvern, Mrs. Flora Crenshaw of Poyen, and Mrs. Lula Buie of Little Rock; 8? grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 tomorrow afternoon at the Sweethome Baptist Church with the Rev. Earl McAllister of Carthage and the Rev Doyle Ingram of Prattsville in charge. Burial will be in the Philadelphia Cemetery near Prattsville with the Buie Funeral Home of Sheridan in charge.
