Jane Locker was born on 30 July 1818 in Delaware county, Ohio. She married James Cunningham on 22 September 1842 in Illinois. They lived on the Breen Farm west of Apple River for a while and then moved to Iona in Chickasaw county, Iowa, about 1854. James died in 1893. Jane lived for some time with her daughter, Mrs. Olive F. Cudsworth of Sidley, B.C. (Canada?) She resided four years with her sons, Morris & Joseph. Jane lived for forty years in Iona. She was ill for one week and died on 7 January 1900.
These facts are copied from "Aunt June's Journal" by Elsie June Cunningham Neuenfeldt, 1891-1995. I am related to the Cunninghams through Flora Adell Cunningham Lake, wife of James Scott Lake. James is my 2nd Grt-grandfather's brother. (Steven Lake)
