Lauretta Busch was born in North Dakota on May 17, 1903, the daughter of August and Pauline (Patzwald) Lempke. She lived in North Dakota and later came to the Alexandria area. On october 14, 1926, Lauretta was united in marriage to Clifford R. Busch in Alexandria. Clifford died on March 9, 1979. Lauretta continued to live in Alexandria where she was a faithful member of the Zion Lutheran Church. She entered the Lakeview Care Center in Glenwood in August and passed away there on Friday, September 25, 1987, at the age of 84 years.
She is survived by sister: Mrs. Raymond (Doris) Kvitek of Lowry and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were Tuesday, September 29, 1987, at 1 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, Alexandria, Minnesota, with Reverend Thomas Javor officiating. Interment was in Hudson Cemetery, Alexandria, Minnesota. Pallbearers were Merlin Busch, Bill Busch, Donald Anderson, Gerald Quast, Dennis Masteller, and John Genrich. Arrangements were with the Anderson Funeral Home.
