After her education she went to work at Plastic Mfg., National Organ Supply Co., G.E., and most recently at Perry Plastic. She attended school at the Erie County Home (now Pleasant Ridge Manor) where she received her LPN degree. She later worked there in that capacity and also worked as a private duty nurse in the West County. Ida enjoyed playing cards and reading.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death in 1998 by her husband, Kenneth L. Teribery, whom she married on Oct. 10, 1947; also by her daughter, Karen Teribery, who passed away on April 10, 1974; a grandaughter, Tracy Flook, on April 25, 2009; and her brothers, Marshall Adams and Melvin Adams.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol Reynolds (Clarence); her sons, Clifford Teribery (Katherine) and Russell Teribery (Gail), all of Lake City; her nine grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
Burial will be in the Girard Cemetery.
