Marie Rhoads, 82, of St. Joseph, Mo., passed away on April 7, 2006, at the home of her daughter.
Marie was born in Buffalo, Iowa, on March 31, 1924. She has lived most of her life in St. Joseph.
She worked in the housekeeping department of the St. Joseph Hospital and the former Heartland West.
She was a member of Carnegie Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Anna Mae Adams; her husband, Warren in 1970; three brothers and one sister.
Survivors: sons, Mike Rhoads, and wife Jeannie, Springfield, Mo., Warren Rhoads Jr., and wife Charlene, Arkansas, Rick Rhoades and wife, Rita, Tracy, Mo., daughters, Pat Lawson, Faucett, Mo., and Mary Phroper and husband, Ronnie, St. Joseph; 11 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held on April 10, at Rupp Chapel, St. Joseph, Mo.
Interment: Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Joseph, Mo.
