ROMNEY, W.Va. - Mrs. Nellie E. Corbin, 88, of 195 West Gravel Lane, died yesterday in Hampshire Memorial Hospital. A native of Hampshire County, she was a daughter of the late Uriah E. and Ida J. (Biser) Mayhew. She was a member of Romney First United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband, Albert M. Corbin; two sons, Elmer T. Corbin, Sebring, Fla.; Adrian M. Corbin, here; two daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Starkey, Sebring; Mrs. Hazel Solomon, Williamsport, Md.; two sisters, Mrs. Wilda Alburtis, Cumberland; Mrs. Arrahwanna Powelson, Springfield; 13 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.Friends will be received at the Shaffer Funeral Home today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted at First United Methodist Church tomorrow at 2 p.m. The Rev. Howard N. Ellifritz will officiate and interment will be in Indian Mound Cemetery. The body will be taken to the church one hour prior to the services.
