A native of Randolph County, she was the wife of the late J. V. McDaniel and the daughter of Thomas V. Williams and Lelar Kivett Williams, both deceased. She was a retired employee with Dixie Belle and attended Trinity Worship Center.
Survivors include a daughter, Rene Hinson and husband Johnie of Navarre, FL; son, Steve McDaniel and wife Faye of Graham; two sisters, Betty Albright and husband Colon and Frances Morris, all of Burlington; five grandchildren, Carly McDaniel, Kennedi McDaniel, Keaton McDaniel, Christy Holloway and Jennifer Byers; and three great grandchildren, Preston Byers, Colette Holloway and Ansleigh Grace Holloway.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Davis.
The funeral service will be conducted at the Chapel of the Mausoleum at Alamance Memorial Park in Burlington on Monday, December 1, 2014 at 3 p.m. by her son-in-law, Rev. Johnie Hinson with the family receiving friends from 2 to 3 p.m. at the mausoleum prior to the service. Other times they will be at the residence.
