Thelma Steelman Donaho, 80, of Corsicana passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2009, in Corsicana. She was born on Dec. 27, 1928, in Richland.
She was a member of Unity Baptist Church. She was employed with Haggar Slacks and the Texas Miller Hat Factory for several years. She was the last of nine children. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Corley Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at Corley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Chad Owens officiating. Interment will follow at Richland Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ronald Libhart, Christopher Roden, Corey Miller, Mike Gargis, Brandon O'Neill and Danny Allen. Honorary pallbearer will be Chad Owens Jr.
Mrs. Donaho was preceded in death by her husbands, Randall R. Steelman and Neil Donaho; son, Doyle Glenn Steelman; and eight brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her sons, Randall Steelman and wife Glenda of San Antonio and Mickey R. Steelman and wife Ronda of Emerson, Ga.; daughters, Patsy S. Knight of
Wortham, Rachel Howell of Corsicana and Nancy I. Thompson and husband Allen of Corsicana; stepsons, Eddie Donaho and wife Peggy of Conway, Ark., and Mike Donaho of Corsicana; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces,
nephews and cousins.
