Hilda Gay (Jones) Montgomery, of Dadeville, Mo., died peacefully in her home on Saturday, November 29, 2014, at the age of 85. She was born on October 27, 1929 in Dade County, Mo., to Roy and Florence (Hall) Jones. Hilda retired from the Union Pacific Railroad in 1989.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Roy and Florence Jones; and three sisters, Maxine Hargis, Eula Mae Franklin, and Mildred Gerwert.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Montgomery; three children, Marilyn and Kevin Love, Carolyn and Steve Patterson, and Daryl and Lavonda Montgomery; ten grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Burial in Bald Mound Cemetery.
