Marvin Biedenbender, 72, of 101 Central Street, Potter, died unexpectedly at his home Monday, June 4, apparently after a heart attack.
He was born April 3, 1912, in the town of Rantoul, son of Rudolph and Clara Lerche Biedenbender.
He and Irma Bartel were married July 11, 1934, in Potter.
Mr. Biedenbender farmed for 13 years, and a cattle route for several years, and was employed at Chilton Metal Products for 20 years, retiring in 1979. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Rantoul.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter and son-in-law, Juliane and Edward Eick, Stillwater, Oklahoma; two grandchildren; Dennis and Charles; a sister, Mrs. John W. (Anita) Behnke, Hilbert.
The funeral was Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Rantoul. The Rev. Ferdinand Timler, pastor, officiated. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
