Jannetje Roosa was born about 1655 in Gelderland, Netherlands. Her parents were Albert Heymans Roosa and Wyntje Ariens De Jonge. She married Mathys Ten Eyck on November 16, 1679 in Hurley, Ulster County, New York. Jannetje died on June 23, 1726 in Hurley. According to a book called 'Old Gravestones of Ulster County' her grave marker is made of field stone with the inscription " J. T. E. 1726 JUN 23" on it.
