Ruth K. Grenat O'Connor, 71, of Lafayette died Sunday, November 23, 2014 at home surrounded by her family. She was born August 23, 1943, in Hammond, IN, to the late Alan and Mildred Grenat. Ruth worked at Radian Research for many years retiring in 2008. She had previously worked for Wintek Corp. She enjoyed updating Find A Grave Website and working on genealogy research projects.Surviving are her children Greg A. O'Connor, Dorothy R. Propes, Rick M. O'Connor (Janet), Cori S. Hainje (Brian) all of Lafayette, 16 grandchildren and 2 great grand children. Also surviving is her sister Connie S. Stair (Russell) of Fairmont. Ruth was preceded in death by brothers Gene, Jake and Dick Grenat.Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Monday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Service will be at 7 PM Monday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel.
