Sassy fit her name, some teasing and inbreeding had given her a rather nasty disposition. She was my dog, and she owned me. No one else could come near me without getting a growl from her, including my husband. Whichever family member she was guarding was perfectly safe as long as she was there. However, she loved all of us in her own way. She was spoiled, and had a good life until kidney problems took her over. She was cremated, and her ashes scattered in the Rocky Mountains.
