Son of William Reed and Eva May Stricklin Alexander. Married Nova Pearl Terrell 6 May 1949 Pawhuska OK. Children: Ronald Lee, Carolyn Sue, Sharon Kay, Karen Ann. From obit: He grew up in the Peru area and attended the Elcado School. He farmed in that area until 1952 and then moved to Chanute where he was employed as operator of the Chanute power plant. He retired in 1986.
He was a member of the National Rifle Association, Bassmasters, IDEW Union, and the Appaloosa Horse Club."
