Frederick Duwe Passes Sunday

Frederick Duwe, age eighty-one, residing on Seymour R3 southwest of this city, died at 9 o'clock Sunday night at his home. He had been in failing health for two years and had been bedfast for the past two weeks.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon from the Voss Mortuary and at 2 o'clock from the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour with the Rev. E. H. Eggers, pastor, in charge, Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery.

Mr. Duwe was a native of Sauers where he was born on January 21, 1858, the son of William and Minnie Duwe, both natives of Germany. He spent his entire life in Jackson County and was married on April 29, 1884, at Sauers to Elizabeth Rieckers, who died recently.

Mr. Duwe was a member of the Lutheran church and was a well known farmer.

An infant son preceded him in death. He is survived by four children: George Duwe, near Dudleytown; Mrs. Addie Surrenkamp, near Dudleytown; Albert Duwe, near Seymour; and Mrs. Alma Hoevner, near Seymour. Eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive.

Friends may call at the Voss Mortuary at 7 o'clock tonight.
