Abner Farrington died last Sunday afternoon at Redwood Falls, Minn. The remains will be brought here Wednesday evening and will be buried Thursday at 10:30 o'clock from the Episeopal Church. Rev. C. D. Belden conducting the service. He was about 68 years old and left this Village eight years ago.
Mr. Farrington is the father of daughters - Mrs. Francis Pettie (Cyrenus Bently) of Blooming Prairie, Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth McGuire (Rev. James) of Hiawatha, Kansas, Mrs. Caroline Brooks (John M.) of Blooming Prairie, Minnesota, Mrs. Kate McDaniels (Robert C.) of Portland City, Oregon, Mrs. Mary Ann Mason (James B.) of Redwood Falls, Minnesota, sons Tabor Farrington of Portland, Oregon, Mr. Willam Farrington (Adeline O.) of Blooming Prairie, Minnesota and Luther Farrington (Adda Emma) of Portland, Oregon.
The deceased was highly esteemed by all who knew him. Daughter Olive E. Brooks (Clinton D.) preceded him in death Sept. 21, 1888 in the town of Waupun Wisconsin. The cause of death typhoid fever.

Census - 1870 July 15 Minnesota, Steele county, Blooming Prairie, lists Abner, Taber, Olive, William, Mary & Charles.
Caroline died Sept. 3, 1867, Blooming Prairie, Steele county, Minn. Abner's second wife was Florina Drown.
