Mr. Hoyt Allison, age 81, of Sautee passed away Saturday, April 8, 2006 at his residence following a sudden illness. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 10, 2006 from the funeral home chapel, the Rev. Matt Stephens will officiate; interment will follow in the Nacoochee United Methodist Church Cemetery. Mr. Allison was born on February 5, 1925 in White County to Walter Allison and Cora Winkler Allison. He was a farmer and retired carpenter. Mr. Allison attended Community Baptist Church and is preceded in death by his parents as well as his sisters, Beatrice Tallant and Janell Adams, and his Brother, Claude Allison. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Adams Allison, Sautee; son and daughter in Law, Harold & Judy Allison, Sautee; daughter and son in law, Diane & Keith Chambers, Sautee; brother and sister in law, Buddy and Betty Allison, Hiawassee, as well as 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
