A WATERLOO AREA WOMAN DIES IN AUBURN HOSPITAL
Mrs THERESA ELVINA MILLER, 75, wife of Frank Miller of Rt 2 Waterloo, died at 11:20 am Tuesday in the Dr Bonnet M Souder Hospital in Auburn.
Mrs Miller succumbed to a series of strokes. She had been in failing health since she became ill with influenza last winter and she entered the hospital on March 31.
She was born Aug 8, 1887 in Edgerton Ohio and was the daughter of the late George and Mary Blomeke. She resided in the Waterloo area nearly all of her life-time.
Mrs Miller and her husband observed their 50th wedding anniversary four years ago last Oct 6.
She was a member of the St Michael's Catholic Church, north of Waterloo and its Rosary society.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Anthony Miller of Rt 2 Waterloo; five daughters, Mrs Carl Walker of Rt 1 Waterloo, Mrs John Hoffelder of Rt 1 Waterloo, Mrs Paul Ruppert of Rt 1 Andrews, Mrs Harold Smith of Spencerville and Mrs Forrest Rudolph of Pleasant Lake; 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs Michael Ellert of Ashley and Mrs Anthony Ellert Sr of Waterloo.
The body is at the Graffis Funeral Home in Waterloo where it will remain until final rites Saturday at 4 pm at St Michael's church.
