DETROIT -- Mr. Cleary Gibson, 51, of Detroit, Mich., died Friday, Sept. 24, 2004 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.
Funeral services are scheduled Friday, Oct. 1 at 2 p.m. at New Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Lanett with the Revs. Jackie Banks, David Lee Core and Terry L. Magby officiating. Burial will follow in the church cememtery.
Mr. Gibson is survived by two children, Dershahn Moye of Detroit and Tammie Gibson of Lanett; one brother, Gary (Brenda) Gibson of LaGrange; two sisters, Gwendolyn (John) Crim and Wanda Sue Gibson, both of Valley; three grandchildren, Cederius Wilson of Lanett and Dershahn and Zianna Stewart of Amherstburg, Canada; and a host of nieces and nephews, one great-niece and one great-great-niece and great-great-nephew.
Mr. Gibson was born Dec. 1, 1952 in Lee County. He was a member of New Zion Missionary Baptist Church of Lanett.
