Mrs. GLADYS SLADE
MANCHESTER - Funeral services for Mrs. Gladys Slade, 91, who died in a Bennington nursing home Saturday, were to be held this afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Walter Kelly of Manchester Depot.
Scheduled to officiate was the Rev. Gottfried Parker, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Manchester Center. Burial will be in Dellwood Cemetery in Manchester at a later date.
Mrs. Slade was born in Worcester, Mass., May 9, 1873, the daughter of Herbert L. and Harriet (Johnson) Benson. Mrs. Slade's husband, Henry, died in 1952. She had been a resident of Manchester for 66 years.
