Percy Doble was a veteran of World War I. He was an employee of the state highway department, starting in 1924. His death was the result of injuries received in an automobile collision on the highway between St. Cloud and Waite Park on June 30. Percy Doble was one of five persons hurt in the mishap. The others recovered.
Percy Doble was married to Mildred Baker. They had two children; sons named LeJeune and Wesley. Mildred remarried to Leonard C. Petersen - they lived in the Duluth area. Mildred died August 20, 1994 in Duluth.
