Nancy Tillotson Blaney, 75, of Middleburg, Florida, entered into perpetual rest on September 22, 2014 following a brief struggle with cancer. Nancy died peacefully at home in the care of her family and holding hands with her devoted husband, Jack.

Born Nancy Lee Tucker to Stanley Randolph Tucker, Sr. and Adelaide Candler Tucker in Jacksonville, Florida, she grew up in the beaches area and graduated from Fletcher High School. In 1961, Nancy married Harold Lee Tillotson, Jr. (Hal), a Landon High School music teacher and they had three children, Terri, Susan and Scott.

Nancy began her professional career as a legal secretary with Universal Marion Corp and the Glickstein, Crenshaw law firm. In 1972, she joined Home Interiors & Gifts, Inc. (based in Dallas, Texas) as a sales associate and was quickly promoted into management in 1975, ultimately becoming the company s youngest ever branch manager in 1978. She trained and supervised hundreds of sales associates and managers and her territory covered the northern half of Florida and the southern half of Georgia. Nancy traveled extensively with Home Interiors and made many lifelong friends through the company until she retired in 1989.

After Hal passed away in 1996, Nancy met and married her best friend, Jack Blaney. After moving to the Ravines in Middleburg, Nancy and Jack went into the real estate business together and founded Accent on Homes Realty. Nancy and Jack would celebrate their 17th anniversary on September 26, 2014. Nancy's many passions include golf, cooking and dog training and she was a lifelong Episcopalian.

She will be remembered for her humor, her perseverance, her professionalism, her charisma and her generosity. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Adelaide, her first husband, Hal, her son Scott, her brother, Stanley, Jr. ( Randy ), and her granddaughter, Cynthia Candler Mattingly.
