DeWITT, Stephen M. Sr., 91, passed away November 13, 2014, following complications from a fall. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances DeWitt; brothers, Ed, Ted, Walling, Wiley, Jack and Bill DeWitt; sisters, Edna Lenahan and Maxine Murray. Mack and Frances moved to Virginia in 1952. He was employed as a tax accountant for Reynolds Metals Company and retired after 33 years of service. Mack and Frances loved to travel abroad and took many cruises. He also provided long-term care for his beloved wife. Mack was a devoted member of Trinity United Methodist Church, enjoyed crossword puzzles and daily breakfast at McDonalds. Survivors include his children, Stephen M. DeWitt Jr. and his wife, Elise; daughter, Margaret Elaine DeWitt; and grandchildren, Grant and Anne DeWitt. The family will receive friends Monday, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd. Graveside burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Trinity UMC, 903 Forest Ave., Richmond, Va. 23229 or Central Virginia Food Bank, 1415 Rhoadmiller St., Richmond, Va. 23220
