Mrs Margaret Watkinson, Burlingame
Mrs. Margaret Watkinson, 81, Burlingame, died Thursday at a Burlingame nursing home.
She was born Sept. 11, 1898, at Burlingame, the daughter of James and Minnie Jack Hotchkiss and lived most of her life at Burlingame.
Mrs. Watkinson was a member of the Burlingame Federated Church. She was married to Chester A. Watkinson, June 29, 1929. He died May 22, 1978. She also was preceded in death by two sons, Chester Samuel Watkinson in 1971 and James W. Hislop in 1979.
Survivors also include a daughter, Mrs. Roberta Yancey, Tulsa, Okla.; two sisters, Mrs. Christina Daniels, Independence, Mo. and Mrs. Mary Hess, Pomona, Calif.; a brother James Hotchkiss, Kansas City; four grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Services will be at 3:00 PM Hotchkiss Sunday at the Burlingame Federated Church. Burial will be in Burlingame Cemetery. Mrs. Watkinson will be in state after 1:00 PM Saturday at Carey Funeral Home, Burlingame. Memorial contributions may be made to Kansas Heart Association.
