In Loving Memory of MARY LEE MOTT May 12, 1910 - March 20, 2011 Passed away at the age of 100 on March 20, 2011 at her San Marino home where she had lived for 70 years. Born in Los Angeles to Roy Fox Koster and Margaret Lee Koster, the family resided on West Adams Street. Mary Lee graduated from Los Angeles High School and attended the University of California Berkeley, where she met her future husband, George Morgan (Dick) Mott III. After marriage, they resided in the Oak Lawn area of South Pasadena and then in San Marino, where they raised their six children: Molly (Forgy), Richard, John, Michael, Peter, and Susan (Hamilton). Known as Mimi to her 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, Mary Lee devoted her life to her family, numerous children's causes and her Catholic faith. She was active with schools in South Pasadena and San Marino, and with her many church activities and volunteer organizations. Her husband was CEO and Chairman of the Board of Coldwell Banker and among other affiliations, they were members of The California Club, Newport Harbor Yacht Club and Flintridge Riding Club. Throughout her life Mary Lee touched a host of individuals with her quiet strength, gentle kindness and generous spirit. She will always be held dear in the hearts of her family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made in her name to Maryvale Home for Abused Children (626)280-6510 or Sacred Heart Retreat House for the Carmelite Sisters (626) 289-1353. A Celebration of Life Funeral Mass will be held at S.S. Felicitas and Perpetua Catholic Church in San Marino at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 8, 2011. -
