Died from a lightning strike while sitting in her bedroom in her home.
Family records indicate that Eliza was buried in the 'Mayes graveyard' and also that her sister Rachel was buried in the 'Mayes graveyard.' Since Eliza's sister, Rachel, is DEFINITELY buried in the Wallisville Cemetary, this INDICATES that Eliza is buried there as well.
However, as of 2018,FAG volunteers could not locate a grave/marker for Eliza.
