Beatrice Edith Jacobson
Beatrice Edith Jacobson, aged 24, of Sawyer, Mich., a resident here until a year ago, died in Epworth hospital at 6:30 a.m. today after two weeks' illness. She was born in South Bend Nov. 6, 1918, and was married on May 17, 1942, in South Bend to Irving Jacobson. He survives. She leaves also her mother, Mrs. Rebecca Baim, South Bend, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Florence Wedel, Mishawaka; Mrs. Mignon Ferman, Hobart, Ind.; Mrs. Rose Silberman, Mrs. Sylvia Strauss and Mrs. Esther Scholnik [sic], of South Bend, and Mrs. Lillian Cramer [sic], Chicago; David R. Baim, Irving Baim and Herbert Baim, South Bend, and Private Oscar Baim, Camp Shelby, Miss. Friends will be received tonight in the Forest G. Hay funeral home and until the funeral there at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Rabbi Aaron M. Rine, of the Hebrew Orthodox congregation, will officiate. Burial will be in Hebrew Orthodox Cemetery.
