June L. (Deeter) Garber, age 90 of Englewood, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2014 at SpringMeade Health Center following a brief stay.

June was a member of the Salem Old German Baptist Church, New Conference. She previously had worked for Northmont City Schools as a Library Aide at the O.R. Edgington Elementary School.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Timothy & Brenda Garber of Brookville, Steve & Betty Garber of Rocky Mount, VA, daughters: Chris Garber of Tipp City, Bonnie Garber of West Milton, Jennifer Garber of Englewood, and Laura Garber of Englewood, foster daughter: Linda Wells of Phoenix, AZ, brother and sister-in-law:: Perry & Merle Deeter of Rock Island, IL, grandchildren: Benjamin, Bethany, Jonathan and Sarah Garber, many other family members, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years: Carl H. Garber, parents: Jesse & Ada (Garber) Deeter, brothers: Henry, David and Oliver Deeter, and sisters: Sarah Simmons and Miriam Deeter.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at the Salem Old German Baptist Brethren Church (Corner of Barnes and Sweet Potato Ridge Rd.) with the Salem Brethren officiating. Interment will follow the service at the Warner Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Kindred Funeral Home (400 Union Blvd., Englewood).
