Mary Rohe, age 83, was born in Columbus, Ohio to Mildred and Clyde Brinkley. She grew up in Bellefontaine, Ohio and graduated from Ohio State University's College of Nursing. She was married to Paul H. Rohe for over 61 years and is survived by her husband and children John, Jeffrey and wife Marcia, Kathryn, Steven, and Michael and wife Rhonda, grandchildren Olivia Rohe, Brian Speas and wife Michelle, Sonya Fisk and husband Rob, Natalia Rohe and Paul Anatole Rohe, and great grandchildren Talia McCarty, Jaiden and Von Fisk, Tyler and Zachary Speas. Other family members: brother-in-law Ned Brown, Grove City, Ohio, sister Judy Brinkley of Canton, Ohio, brother Larry Brinkley and wife Bonnie of Canton, Ohio. Her brother, John Richard Brinkley, Ensign , U. S. N, was killed in action during the Korean war. Mary was a staff member of Lakeway Regional Hospital for 25 years, a faithful member of All Saints Episcopal Church for over 38 years, and a charter board member of the Morristown ALPS Center. She was also a member of the Morristown Theater Guild Restoration Committee, the Knoxville Scottish Society, and was the first female Commodore of the Cherokee Lake Sailing Club. Always a volunteer, she was awarded United Way Volunteer of the Year in 2009 and received the Governor's Volunteer Stars Award in 2010. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to All Saints Episcopal Church, the ALPS Center, or Theater Guild Restoration Trust Fund. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 9, at All Saints Episcopal Church, Morristown, Tennessee with a reception following.
