4/14/2024 REGARDING HIS FATHER-
A contributor working for the General Society of Mayflower Descendants on their Silver books team was hired to revise the Eaton and Soule Silver books and she provided this info. Prior to this, this person was attached to the wrong James Soule as his father.
There are two men named James Soule. The one who died in 1828, died childless. He has an account in his estate dated 4 July 1837 where he names his heirs at law who are his siblings and his siblings' children as follows: Rebecca Washburn wife of Sampson Washburn, Cyrus Soule, John Soule, Nathan Soule, James Soule, Mary Soule, Sarah Miller, Deborah Whitten [sic] wife of Joseph Whitten [sic], Sarah Clark wife of Samuel Clark, Elias Miller, Jacob Miller, Saba Miller, and Betsey Miller.
The other James Soule who died in 1845, was married at least 2 times.
