Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Beverly A. Vander Eyk, 87, of St. Cloud will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at St. John Cantius Catholic Church in St. Cloud. Beverly passed away peacefully with family by her side on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at St. Benedict’s Center in St. Cloud. Reverend Thomas Knoblach will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, St. Cloud.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and after 9:30 a.m. on Thursday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud. The Rosary Sodality will pray at 4:30 p.m. and parish prayers will be at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Beverly was born on September 12, 1927 in Onamia, Minnesota to the late Ralph and Rhea (Grow) Tice. She married William T. Vander Eyk on October 6, 1948 in Onamia and they farmed in the Maple Lake area until moving to St. Cloud in 1951. Beverly was a homemaker and dedicated mother of seven. She was a member of St. John Cantius Parish and Rosary Sodality.
Beverly enjoyed knitting, reading and above all spending time with her family.
She will be remembered for her generosity and kindness to all.
She is survived by her children, Terry (Teresa) of Clear Lake, Deborah Vander Eyk of Sauk Rapids, Tom (Pat) of St. Cloud, Mary Ellen (Ron) Erickson of Mora, Kathleen (Lloyd) Keller of Circle Pines, Michael (Marlys) of Foley, Julie (Bob) Theisen of Jesup, Iowa; 13 grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William on March 27, 1995; and great grandson, Benjamin Thomas Spanier; siblings, Merlyn Tice, Maureen Benz and infant Bonita Tice.
