Helen D. (Hartner) Noyes, daughter of Charles and Alma (Wemhoff) Hartner, was born June 10, 1917, at Madison, Nebraska. Helen attended and graduated from Madison High School, then attended Midland College, where she obtained her Bachelor's Degree.
Helen was married to Darrel Noyes, and to this union, four children were born: Karen, Bob, Richard, and Gary. During her lifetime, Helen lived in Madison, and later, Norfolk, Nebraska. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Norfolk.
Helen died Saturday, September 13, 2014, attaining the age of 97 years, three months, and three days. Helen is survived by her daughter, Karen (husband Larry) Topp of Rye, Colorado; sons, Bob (wife Linda) Noyes of Colorado, and Richard (wife Carol) Noyes of Lincoln, Nebraska; five grandchildren, Becky Topp, Dan Topp, Cari Corley, Kate Grundy, and Andrea Brown; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Gary Noyes; parents; grandson, Steve Topp; Brothers, Lawrence Hartner, and Jerry Hartner.
