Mrs. Betty Mayeaux Latimer, 89, of Alexandria, passed from this life Sunday, November 2, 2014, at Emeritus of Alexandria.
Betty was a longtime member of 1st United Methodist Church, Alexandria. During her working life she worked for Louisiana Office Supply, was a sales associate at Cloud 9 in the Alexandria Mall and was a “Pink Lady” at Rapides Regional Medical Center. She will be greatly missed but not forgotten.
She is preceded in death by her husband, O.O. “Beno” Latimer, Jr.; parents, H. P. “Pete” and Marion Petty Mayeaux and a brother, H. P. “Sonny” Mayeaux.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sister, Doris Mayeaux McGraw and husband, Byron; nephews, David McGraw and wife, Joy, Julian Tully and Eugene Tully; niece, Melanie McGraw Nunnally and husband David; several great nieces and great nephews and a host of other family members and friends.
The family has designated the American Cancer Society, 1450 Peterman Drive, Suite B, Alexandria, LA, 71301, and the Alzheimer’s Association, 3717 Government St., Suite 7, Alexandria, Louisiana, 71302, for donations.
The family would like to send a heartfelt “Thank You” to Compassionate Care Hospice and to Emeritus of Alexandria for the care given to Betty.
